391D broken into (yet again)

Most of you might have already known that my house in Melaka got broken into (again) during the hols. Didn't wanna blog bout it for fear Mum finds out about it but since she already /shrug yeah. This is a very much delayed post.

Took all security precautions that we could have taken. Landlord even changed our back door to a more solid, reinforced one (with a latch on top where they can't reach in thru the damned window)...they managed to remove the back grill door's padlock...and since they can't open the latch of the wooden door from the window...they simply ram it until the latch gave way...resulting in a very badly damaged wooden door (they managed to broke the bottom part and cracked the middle part of it) puzzles me how the neighbour orphanage didn't hear the ruscus.

Our room doorknobs were easily picked....and the only doorknob which is safe enough (Razzman's)...they used my kitchen knife and hacked at his door near the lock....

Both QJ and my PCs were at home since it was a short sem and Navin was gonna be around for half of it (should have kept them at landlord's...I know)...bitches ransacked our cupboards drawers and after all the spring-cleaning I did before I left Malacca (so I don't have to do it when sem reopens), I had to do it all over again when I came back (which I only did this weekend). They didn't take our whole PC set...just QJ's 2 HDD (wtf rite?)...everything else, including the speaker+woofer and LCDs...

So far...all items stolen from the house are:

1. QJ's 2 HDD (they took the time to unscrew it from the PC ...swt)
2. QJ's Wii (they didn't take the infrared emitter sensorbar..doh) and Wii games
3. 2 of my bags...the larger ones (so I have to get a new bag now...koff koff alasan!)
4. QJ's wireless mouse USB receptor (not the mouse....zzzz)
5. My body shop 'Moonflower' perfume (for fcks sake its a lady's perfume!)
6. My almost new Pantene shampoo
7. QJ's facial wash
8. Hair dye I bought for QJ (its bloody dark dark brown...shud have bought black! if itu pun mau..diu la)
9. My hairdryer that my dad bought me :(
10. QJ's Smirnoff Vodca (left 1/3 ...should have replaced them with racun tikus)
11. Our Singapore MRT cards (which was in our passport...which were safe)
12. QJ's Nokia charger and my old spoiled Nokia handphones (thanks for helping me dispose them)
13. My old worn out wooden spatula =,=;;;;;;;!
14. Old notes and coin that were in my coin box
15. Our modem+wireless router

Things my housemates lost:

1. Navin lost a pair of shirt and think
2. Razzman's 1/2 bottle of 2L Ribena =,=

There's prolly more that we haven't realised...but w/e la....further precautions (definately sending all our PCs for safekeeping during weekends and hols that we're not it paraoia) and changed the damned backdoor again (its as yellow as Courts Mammoth now)....its such a shame cuz I love this house very much...its awfully cozy and the landlords are awsome folks to boot. Ever so friendly and helpful...

The best part of all this....when the cops came over when we made a police report....My friend asked them "Encik, nak ambik fingerprint tak?"

Their reply was: "Tak boleh...terlalu berhabuk." (translation: "Cannot...its too dusty.")

Hail Malaysian policemen. Malaysia Boleh. It's no wonder all these criminals are so bold nowadays...even snatching handbags in broad daylight. The only times crimes like these are highlighted is when the cops themselves get assaulted or better still, tied and robbed in their own house.
